Façade Engineer
Design, specify, and review curtain-wall and rainscreen systems from concept through construction.
You will own envelope packages on towers, campuses, and civic buildings: system selection, detailing, specifications, shop-drawing review, and site support. You will work with architects, structural engineers, and fabricators who expect precision.
What you will do
- Develop façade concepts and typical details
- Write performance specifications and review tenders
- Review shop drawings, calculations, and test reports
- Attend mock-ups, factories, and the first floors of installation
- Mentor graduates and contribute to practice notes
What we look for
- A degree in architecture, structural, or façade engineering
- Demonstrable curtain-wall or rainscreen experience
- Clear writing and drawings
- Willingness to travel to sites and factories
